Today, our driver will greet you at Bangkok Airport and transfer you to the jungle gateway of Kanchanaburi. Kanchanaburi is an historic, small provincial town, located in western Thailand along the Burmese border. Well known for its Thai Burmese Railway Center and war sanctuaries, the place was immortalized by the British American film “The Bridge on the River Kwai”. This popular film highlighted the bravery of British POW’s held captive under the harshest conditions by the Japanese army, forced to build a bridge over the Khwae Yai river to connect Thailand to Burma. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in luxurious tented accommodation at the Hintok River Camp, close to the Khwae Yai river and the Saiyok National Park.
After a hearty breakfast, we will sail down the Khwae river in a traditional long tailed boat to take in the surrounding jungle scenery on our way to visit waterfalls in the Erawan National park. We then head to the historic Hell Fire pass, an important part of the “Death Railway track” that was built by forced labor and war prisoners during WW2. Overnight stay at the Hintok Tented camp, very close to the Khwae Yai river.
Today we start our program by visiting the infamous River Khwae bridge, one of the WW2 cemeteries and the Thailand Burma Railway Centre museum. We will then head north east to the kingdom’s ancient capital of Ayutthaya, exploring the most significant ruins of the UNESCO World Heritage site. Overnight stay at the elegant Iudia Boutique Hotel, on the Chao Phraya river.
After a delicious breakfast and giving alms to the monks early in the morning (a venerable tradition in Thailand), we head south East towards Bang Saen through the picturesque central plains. Bang Saen is the closest beach from Bangkok and most of the visitors around are Thai nationals. This place is very relaxed and is an oasis of calm. It also well known for it’s authentic Thai seafood restaurants. Indulge yourself with a 1 and a half hour traditional massage in our favourite spa in town and dine in the city’s best seafood restaurant. Overnight at “Villa Phu Places”
After a hearty breakfast, we will head south to the City of Pattaya on picturesque seaside roads. Today, we visit the Buddha mountain and the Silverlake Vineyards in the south end of Pattaya. Lunch at the vineyard restaurant. Evening at leisure. Overnight at the Hard rock Hotel in Pattaya.
Morning meeting. Day at leisure. Enjoy Pattaya’s famous beaches, finest restaurants and bakeries, surrounding islands and its world-renowned night life. Overnight at the Hard rock Hotel in Pattaya
After a well-deserved brunch in a very unique restaurant, we will head on our time capsules on coastal roads to the stunning national park of Khao Chamao, well known for its pristine waterfalls, ferns and majestic wild orchids. Overnight in a charming Thai Style hotel nearby the national park.
After a hearty breakfast, we will refresh ourselves in Klong Pla Kang’s 8 level waterfall and then hike through through this spectacular evergreen forest on the lookout for wildlife. We will spend a half day visiting the Chamao National Park, which is actually part part of a larger and complex forest located across both kingdoms of Thailand and Cambodia. We will then head south on our vintage motorcycles towards a boat pier where we will load our bikes on a local ferry boat and sail to the tropical island of Koh Samet. Overnight at “Le Vimarn Cottages and Spa” Beach Resort located on Ao Prao beach.
Day at Leisure. There is no better way to discover Samet view points and beaches then on a motorcycle. There are also possibilities to dive and snorkel around the island (not included). Overnight at “Le Vimarn Cottages and Spa” Beach Resort located on Ao Prao beach.
